Inspired by patterns of growth seen in nature, Sorrel creates jewellery and objects through the isolation of geometric shapes and the development of repetitive patterns Illustrator. These templates are then carefully hand pieced; the resultant tabs are pulled and bent to develop complex, interlinked, and overlapping surfaces.

Joined in space, these tabs create the illusion of volume, resulting in delicate, intricate forms. Contrasting patina and surface decoration are important to this body of work, enhancing the forms myriad negative space, and creating the illusion of volume.
